Coolpad Note 5 Lite C with Android 7.1 Nougat, 5-inch display launched at Rs 7,777


Coolpad launched the budget smartphone Note 5 Lite C in India, on Friday. The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C is priced at Rs 7,777 and will be available on Amazon from August 20 in open sale.
Also, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite C is the first offline exclusive product from the company with sales to start from August 5 at 3000 multi-brand stores across 8 states- Delhi NCR, Haryana, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
The company has plans to launch four more offline exclusive smartphones by the end of 2018 as it aims to expand its offline presence across 18 states by then.
Speaking at the launch of the Coolpad Note 5 Lite C, Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India, said, There is a lot more that will come from Coolpad for our India fans, as we plan to launch one major online flagship on 20th August and four more offline exclusive products by the end of 2018. Coolpad has become a major brand in India with full coverage from online to offline channels."
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C is also the first phone from the company to come with Android 7.1 Nougat in India. It sports a 5.0-inch Full HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution and is powered by Snapdragon 210, 1.1 GHz Quad - core processor. The smartphone comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory that's expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.

On the camera front, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite C comes with 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. Further, the  smartphone is backed by a 2500mAh battery which company claims can power the phone for 240 hours during standby.
There is a finger print scanner mounted on the back side of the phone, plcaed below the rear camera. The sensors include light sensors and proximity sensors. Coming to the connectivity options, Note 5 Lite C is compatible with 2G, 3G and 4G VOLTE, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0.The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C succeeds the Note 5 Lite which was launched by the company in March this year. The phone costs Rs 8,199 and sports a metal design. Further the phone comes with 3GB of RAM, and  16GB of internal storage. It is powered by the quad-core MediaTek MT6745 processor paired with  Mali-T720 GPU and backed by 2,500mAh battery.
