This is the LG V30, launch set for August 31

LG is seemingly all prepared to announce its next flagship phone after the LG G6. The company had sent out media invite dated August 30, but didn't announce what are they going to launch. But, after taking a glance at the media invite which was making rounds on the web, India Today Tech learnt that it is going to be the LG V30. This is because the invite includes an 18:9 display smartphone (rumours hint the same display for V30) with a V-shape design in the background.  The press invite is only for Germany as of now. This means that LG's V30 will be made available in Germany first and then eventually hit other markets, including India. LG didn't reveal any details on the same as of now. Ahead of the official launch of the phone, a handful of live images leak online.
LG has teamed up with HitRecord, an online collaborative production company to give away early testers a look at the LG V20's successor. The content and pictures of the V30 were given away on the fact that it should be limited to a particular community forum. But, sadly it didn't. Some live images of the LG V30, while the testers were using the phone were posted publicly. However, the pictures of the phone were taken down soon after. But, Ronald Quandt got hold of them and posted it on Twitter.
LG V30 with Daydream support may launch on August 31, hints press invite
Going by the leaked images of the V30, the phone features a glass panel at the back side as revealed by a few previous leaks. Looking at the pictures, it seems the phone will feature a more or less 6-inch display, similar to what a previous rumours hinted. The two cameras at the back are seen placed horizontally. Next to  the camera sits the LED flash for better picture capture. Further, the phone is also seen with the dual-camera setup at the rear, and a mounted fingerprint sensor placed right below the camera.
Looks like LG V30 will not be a bezel-less phone, but will at least have thinner bezels than that of the LG G6. Apart from the pictures of the V30, the testers also posted some camera samples clicked by the phone. It seems like the LG V30 like that of the V20 will also come with laser-assisted autofocus feature onboard.
A few months ago, Google confirmed that LG's next flagship phone, which will most probably be the LG V30 will come with Daydream support out-of-the-box and an OLED screen. Some rumours earlier hinted at a much sleeker design for the V30 than the V20, which is probably going to the case. The alleged LG V30 is also rumoured to come with wireless charging support.
Another rumour hint that the upcoming smartphone by LG may not come with its signature secondary display, which was seen on the V20. It further suggests that the key highlight of the V30 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 processor.
