Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Samsung will formally announce the Galaxy Note 8 in New York City on August 23. Ahead of its formal unveiling, serial tipster Evan Blass has managed to get hold of what he claims are press renders of the alleged Note 8 in midnight black and gold flavors. Going by his track record, the Note 8 should stick dangerously close to the tipster's leak which means ideally this is what the Note 8 would look like. Just like the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+, the Note 8 will feature an unusually long Infinity display so that even though it would be a 6.4-inch phone, it would seem smaller in the hands.
The Note 8, in addition, to its larger 6.4-inch screen will come with a dual camera setup on the rear which would make it stand out from the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+. The phone, as far as hardware specs are concerned, will come with either an Exynos 8895 or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clubbed with 4 gigs of RAM. The Note 8 will further come with a near edge-to-edge design, an unusual 18.5:9 display and Samsung's proprietary Bixby virtual assistant. The S-Pen functionality that the Note-range is sort of synonymous with will stay put.

The Note 8 will be successor to the Galaxy Note 7. Samsung recently re-launched the infamous Galaxy Note 7 in its home turf Korea and is calling it the Galaxy Note Fan Edition.
The Note 7 FE has more or less the same specs as the original Note 7 and makes changes only in the battery and software departments. It is now backed by a smaller 3,200mAh battery -- as opposed to the Note 7 that came with a bigger 3,500mAah battery -- and runs Android Nougat-based Experience UI, the same software that's pretty much inside the Galaxy S8 and S8+. The new software bump adds the Bixby virtual assistant to the Note as well.
